Performer Bio

W. Fran Astorga (they/them) is a queer Latine performer working at the intersections of clown, commedia, and collective embodiment. With roots in physical comedy and bilingual ensemble work, Fran thrives in roles that balance pathos and play. Their performances invite audiences to laugh through grief and witness transformation through joy.

They have performed with African-American Shakespeare Company, TigerBear Productions, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, and Alternative Theater Ensemble, among others.

Fran's training includes STUDIO A.C.T., Atelier Teatro Fisico (Italy), and CSU SummerArts.
